Spades is a classic card game built around strategy, chance, and luck. The game puts you at a table with AI opponents, challenging you to bid on tricks and outplay the competition across a standard 52-card deck. A green textured surface serves as the background for the card layout and UI elements throughout play. In one dealt hand, thirteen facedown cards with red patterned backs are arranged in stacks for three of the four positions at the table.

How to Play Spades: Bid Tricks and Reach 500 Points

The deck runs from Ace at the top down to 2 at the bottom, and Spades always beat every other suit. Before the first card is played, each player bids on the number of tricks they expect to take — that bid is the foundation of your score. The objective is to take exactly the number of tricks you bid. Partners accumulate points together, and the first partnership to reach 500 points wins the game.
