About Sporio: Survival and Evolution in a Living Microworld

Sporio is a short arcade game about survival and evolution inside a living microworld. A cell-like organism navigates a dark void scattered with small glowing green, cyan, and yellow circular particles, collecting them to grow and push through successive stages. Other creatures move through the same ecosystem, toxic zones emerge, predators close in, and events can abruptly shift your path. The goal is to survive as long as possible, reach higher stages, build a stronger organism, and beat your best result.

How to Play Sporio

Guide the cell toward glowing particles to gain mass and advance to new stages. Along the way, collect gene fragments to unlock mutation choices — pick one mutation to reshape your organism, or recycle the gene into mass instead. Follow the run goals, steer clear of toxic zones and larger threats, and absorb weaker creatures once your organism is strong enough to do so.

Every mutation changes how the organism plays. Moving faster, pulling food closer, improving defense, widening absorption, and becoming stronger in clashes are all possible directions a run can take. Because each run starts fresh, the combination of mutations chosen shapes a completely different organism each time. After a run ends, start again and try to beat your best score.
