Smash That Ore
About Smash That Ore: Idle Mining One Swing at a Time
Smash That Ore is an idle mining game built around a simple, satisfying loop: dig deeper, haul coins back to camp, and upgrade your gear before the next dive. Each run sends you swinging your pick into rock and ore veins, racing against a lamp that slowly burns through its oil. One scene shows a cartoon miner with a brown beard and a yellow hard hat gripping a pickaxe. Another view reveals dark, round stones threaded with green and orange veins arranged in a dashed-line grid. Dark brown cave walls with turquoise mineral deposits frame the central wooden-bordered play area in at least one scene.
How to Play Smash That Ore
Tap or click a rock beside your tunnel to swing your pick at it; hold the input to keep swinging continuously. Every swing burns lamp oil, and when the oil runs out you automatically climb back to camp carrying whatever you have collected. Breaking ore earns coins, and the tunnels also hide chests and rare finds. Hard rock that resists the pick can be blasted with dynamite.
Back at camp, spend your haul on upgrades, then dive again. Reach a new seam, defeat the stone guardian protecting it, and that seam's lift will carry you straight down to that depth on every future run. The Rig keeps mining on your behalf while you are away.
Upgrades
- Pick: sharper tool for breaking rock and ore more effectively

- Rig: continues mining automatically while you are away from camp
Controls
- Tap / Click: swing pick at an adjacent rock
