Lidar Drive
About Lidar Drive
Lidar Drive puts you in the role of an autopilot with no conventional camera feed. Instead of a normal view, the car's lidar returns a cloud of points that gradually maps the space around you as you move. Walls and parked cars build up in that point cloud as you pass them, while moving traffic leaves trailing streaks. Fog, tunnels, and dark cars can blind your sensors entirely, so the picture you have of the road is always partial and earned.
The game spans 13 hand-crafted levels alongside an endless mode. Credits collected along the way let you purchase additional modules — sonar, radar, an AI camera, and others — and upgrade the lidar itself. Every module added draws on the CPU, and too many active at once will slow every sensor down. Traffic density also increases as the car grows more capable.
How to Play Lidar Drive
Each level has one core requirement: reach the finish before the timer hits zero without wrecking the car. Up to three stars are awarded per level — one for finishing, a second for having 15 or more seconds remaining, and a third for completing the run without any hits.
Close calls past other cars reward both credits and extra seconds, so threading through traffic tightly has a direct payoff. Blue posts called Cores also grant credits and add one second to the clock. Credits accumulated across runs go toward buying and upgrading modules in the shop.
