Shadow of the Golden Dragon: hidden object drops you into a fantasy elven kingdom where the ancient talisman known as the "Heart of the Dragon" has been stolen. The Elven Queen calls on you personally to investigate, and what begins as suspicion toward the goblins gradually unravels into something far more sinister: an unknown dark cult lurking in the shadows is behind the crime.

The investigation carries you through five atmospheric locations — the majestic Elven Castle, the gloomy Old Tunnels, the bustling Goblin Workshop, the mysterious Dark Forest, and the sinister Black Tower. One interior scene features three antler-shaped chandeliers with burning candles and a large stone dragon shield on the wall. In another room, a large statue of a seated green dragon with folded wings stands at the center beside a spiral staircase. A separate stone-walled room holds a glowing orange furnace with molten liquid being poured into molds at its center.

Each location presents a scene filled with concealed items. A list on the left side of the screen shows exactly which objects must be found. Examine the scene carefully and click on each discovered object with the left mouse button.
