About Relic Rover: Relaxed Excavation with a Clock

Relic Rover is a relaxed excavation game that puts you behind the wheel of a rover navigating buried sites against a ticking clock. Read the ground for clues — scattered shards, glints, and disturbed soil point toward what lies beneath — then choose the right tool to bring each find up intact. Thirty levels spread across five chapters give the game real variety: a windswept desert, brick temple ruins reclaimed by forest, a tidal beach where waves refill your pits, a dark limestone cave, and a royal tomb. Across those levels, 100 artifacts wait to be recovered, from caravan coins to a closed-eye gold mask, each earning its own entry in your collection.

How to Play Relic Rover: Dig Every Artifact Before Time Runs Out

Each level hands you a list of artifacts buried somewhere in the site and a time limit. Drive the rover over the ground, follow the soil clues, and dig up every artifact on the list to clear the level. Finish with your finds intact and the clock still generous to earn three stars.

Tools

• Drill: cuts through packed earth quickly but can crack fragile artifacts.
• Blower: clears dust gently and keeps finds whole, though it works more slowly.

Switch between them to suit each find as you uncover it.

Bombs

Old bombs are buried across some sites. Some detonate the moment they are touched; others run on a timer. Dig out anything sitting inside the red ring and drive clear before they go off.

Between Levels

Gold earned during a run can be spent in the Workshop on new rover shells, each carrying its own strengths and weak points. The rover also grows stronger with every find made during a run.

Controls

• Left mouse button (hold): drive toward the cursor.
• Right-click: switch between Drill and Blower.
• WASD, ZQSD, or arrow keys: drive.
• Space: switch between Drill and Blower.
• V: view the whole site.
• P or Esc: pause.
• Drag (touch): drive.
• Tap Drill or Blower button (touch): switch tools.
• Eye button (touch): see the whole site.
