Pool Critters
About Pool Critters: Cartoon Animal Pool Club
Pool Critters is a fast, friendly pool game where you challenge a club of cartoon animals, each carrying their own personality and shot style. The roster is free to play from the start: the Goose, Spike the hedgehog who shoots with his nose, Raty McRat, Barry the Beaver, Elsie the Elephant with her whip-crack trunk, the Stork, grumpy Clive the Croc, Mango the dog, a slippery Snake, and spoilt Penny the Pony. Matches are quick 7-ball races, and every critter begins at an easy level — but they sharpen up as the game goes on.
How to Play Pool Critters
Pick an opponent, then choose between QUICK GAME or FULL GAME.
QUICK GAME
A 7-ball race where any ball on the table is fair game. Pot a ball and shoot again — whoever pots 4 balls first wins. Every ball your opponent pots levels up their ACCURACY or TACTICS, so the match gets tougher the longer it runs.
FULL GAME
Classic 8-ball rules. Pot all your spots or stripes, then finish with the black. Choose a difficulty at the start — EASY, MEDIUM, or HARD — with HARD putting your opponent at full skill from the opening shot.
Fouls and Ball in Hand
Potting the white ball or hitting nothing counts as a foul, and your opponent receives ball in hand. When you have ball in hand, place the white ball before taking your shot.
Coins and Customization
Every win pays the same number of coins. Spend them on cues, table cloths, and hats. Waistcoats are free.
Controls
- Touch/click the table and drag back: Aim and pull the cue simultaneously; release to shoot — the further back you drag, the harder the shot
- Press the aim line and drag it: Fine-tune your aim direction
- Slide back to the white before releasing: Cancel your shot and start over
- Drag the white ball: Place it when you have ball in hand
