Othello Five
About Othello Five: Classic Othello with a 5-in-a-Row Twist
Othello Five takes the familiar stone-flipping logic of classic Othello and reshapes the win condition: instead of controlling the most squares at the end, victory goes to whoever lines up 5 consecutive stones first — or wipes out every opponent piece. The result is a strategy board game that rewards both aggressive placement and careful trapping. Several scenes show a dark blue grid of eight columns and eight rows at the center of the screen. Spherical pieces in matte black and white sit on the grid squares. Small light-blue circular outlines appear at various empty grid intersections across multiple views.
How to Play Othello Five
The core mechanic stays true to Othello: place a stone so that one or more of your opponent's stones are sandwiched between your new piece and another stone you already own. Those trapped stones flip to your color. What changes is how you win — form a line of 5 consecutive stones in any direction, or eliminate all of your opponent's pieces from the board.
