How to Play Ocean Merge: Merge, Place, and Fight Through the Ocean
The core rhythm is straightforward: spawn creatures using the buttons at the bottom of the screen — choosing between melee fighters and ranged shooters — then merge matching creatures to evolve them up the tier ladder. Chaining multiple merges in a row triggers a combo. Once your squad is ready, press START FIGHT and the battle resolves automatically.
Building and Placing Your Squad
Positioning matters as much as merging. Place tanks at the front of your half of the board and keep shooters behind them. Pufferfish explode, so keeping your creatures away from purple ones is essential to avoiding unnecessary losses.
Earning and Progressing
Every hit during a battle earns coins. After a win, spin the reward wheel to multiply your earnings before claiming them. New species become available through the Collection, bosses appear on every 10th level, and clearing one opens a new biome. Returning daily nets streak rewards, and idle earnings accumulate while you're offline.
