How to Play Maze

Your mission? Simple. Find the Golden Key. Escape the maze. Don't get caught. The monster is already moving. Clock's ticking.

Core Mechanic: The Key Tracker

Use the Key Tracker. It's your lifeline. Scale fills up? You're close to the key. Scale drops? Wrong direction. Turn around. Check the walls. Read the inscriptions. They tell you if you're going the right way or walking into a dead end. Move with WASD. Mouse to look. Get close to objects to interact. No clicking needed.

Survival Strategy

The monster doesn't wait. Keep moving. Don't backtrack unless the tracker says so. Wall inscriptions are your map. "Right direction" means sprint. "Wrong way" means pivot fast. Find that Golden Key. Then locate the exit. Two objectives. One life.

Pro Tips

Listen. The monster makes noise. Footsteps mean it's close. Use TAB to pause and think. Check your surroundings before committing to a path. The tracker scale is everything. Half-filled? You're halfway there. Nearly full? The key is in the next few turns. Dead silence? Either you're safe or it's right behind you.
