Frogtress drops a frog into a pond and sends endless waves of bugs its way. The frog handles its own attacks, leaving the real decisions to you: choosing mutations, building fusions, and pushing deeper through 10 distinct ponds, each guarded by a boss. Named threats like the Queen Wasp and Croc King stand between the frog and a purified pond. The challenge scales all the way to wave 100, and a Rebirth system opens a skill tree that grows with repeated runs.

How to Play Frogtress: Survive Waves, Pick Mutations, Purify Ponds

The frog licks bugs automatically, so the core loop is about surviving each wave and making smart choices between them. After every wave, three mutations appear and one must be chosen. Collect four of the right mutations to unlock a fusion — you'll find 20 fusions built from 38 total mutations. Beating the boss at wave 30 purifies the current pond, then the frog goes deeper. Rebirth and the skill tree extend progression across runs.
