How to Play 4x4 Chess: Capture the Opponent's King
The ultimate goal is to capture the opponent's King before they capture yours. Taking the enemy King wins the match instantly.
Core Rules
- Place or Move: On each turn, either place a new piece from the side bench onto an empty square of the 4x4 board, or move a piece already on the board using standard chess movement rules.
- Pawn Promotion: Advance a pawn to the opponent's furthest row and it automatically promotes to a Queen.
- Difficulty Scaling: Winning matches causes the AI to adapt, restrictions to change, and board themes to evolve.
