About Fillword Islands
Fillword Islands is an original word search game built on a hexagonal grid, wrapped in the atmosphere of tropical island exploration. Unlike classic word searches, words here can run in six different directions across the hex field — making each puzzle more interesting and unusual. Perfect for word puzzle lovers who want to relax while giving their brain a gentle challenge, the game also lets you compete with other players on a global leaderboard and view islands collected by other participants.
How to Play Fillword Islands
The goal is to find all hidden words on the hexagonal grid. Press and hold on the first letter, then drag through adjacent cells in any of the six directions to form a word. A word list at the top of the screen shows what to find — some words start hidden, displayed only as dots matching the number of letters.
Hints and Bonus Words
When stuck, two hint buttons are available: "Reveal one letter" or "Reveal the entire word." Finding bonus words not included in the main puzzle earns extra XP, with the amount depending on the word's length.
Islands and Collection
Completing all words on a field unlocks a new section of the island. Higher difficulty islands open a smaller area. Unlocked islands are saved in your collection, which holds up to 30 most recent islands. One island can be marked as a Favorite Island, visible to other players on the global leaderboard. The first islands are identical for all players; from the 10th island onward, each player receives unique ones.
