Doodle Defense
About Doodle Defense
Doodle Defense puts you in charge of protecting a notebook from an advancing army of ink blots. The battlefield is a grid of notebook paper, and your weapons are the stationery you'd find on any desk — pencils, compasses, and erasers, each ready to hold the line against wave after wave of enemies. The game blends arcade action with tactical planning, asking you to think carefully about tower placement and upgrades before each wave rolls in.
How to Play Doodle Defense
Each session begins by choosing an unlocked level. From there, select a tower and place it on any free cell beside the path. Once your defenses are set, press "Start Wave" and the towers attack automatically.
Tower Types and Combinations
- Pencils: deal damage to enemies
- Compasses: deal damage to enemies
- Erasers: slow enemies down
Combining pencils, compasses, and erasers lets you both damage and slow the advancing ink blots. Farms generate extra income during combat, and coins can be spent on new towers and upgrades. Selecting a placed tower opens options to upgrade it, change its targeting priority, or sell it.
Defending Your Base
Every enemy that breaks through reduces your ink supply. Clear every wave in a level to unlock additional maps.
Controls
- Mouse: select and place towers, interact with menus on desktop
- Touch controls: select and place towers, interact with menus on mobile
