Deorbit - Space Survivors drops you into the cockpit of a lone starship stranded in hostile sectors, where enemy swarms close in from every direction. The game is a fast-paced top-down space survivor shooter built around automatic weapons fire — your focus stays on flying, dodging, and outlasting an ever-growing horde. In one scene, dark gray, irregularly shaped rocky masses float through the environment around your ship.

Every run unfolds across 10 escalating phases per sector, culminating in massive boss encounters that can shift the entire course of a run. Glowing XP orbs scattered across the battlefield fuel mid-run level-ups, and chests drop in during combat carrying bonus loot. No two runs play the same, and gold earned across runs carries back to the hangar for permanent progress.

How to Play Deorbit - Space Survivors: Fly, Level Up, and Survive

The core loop is straightforward: keep moving to avoid enemy swarms, vacuum up glowing XP orbs to level up, then choose from a hand of upgrade cards to shape your build on the fly. Upgrade options include more firepower, drones, shields, and devastating new abilities. Open chests that drop onto the battlefield to collect bonus drones, cells, and items mid-run.

Survive all 10 phases of a sector and you'll face the sector boss — beating it pushes you deeper into the game. Every run earns gold, which you spend back at the hangar between runs to permanently upgrade your ship, unlock new vessels, and gear up before the next dive.
