Your Billiards Eight Ball
About Your Billiards Eight Ball: Realistic 3D Eight-Ball Pool
Your Billiards Eight Ball puts a full-featured, realistic 3D Eight-Ball billiards experience right in your browser. The game covers everything from the opening break to the final pocket, following standard Eight-Ball rules throughout. A 3D physics system handles ball-to-ball collisions, cushion rebounds, rolling rotation, pocket capture, and cue-ball spin, giving each shot a grounded, physical feel. Several scenes show a dark wooden pool table with a green felt surface at the center of a room with light-colored floor tiles. In one scene, a tan multi-cushion sofa sits against a dark wall behind the table, and in another a framed image of a brown horse running through a flowered landscape hangs on the wall. Multiple graphics-quality settings and realistic sounds round out the presentation, and the table itself can be dressed in one of five felt colors: Crimson Red, Classic Green, Slate Blue, Charcoal Gray, or Deep Violet.
How to Play Your Billiards Eight Ball: Clear Your Group, Pocket the 8-Ball
Matches follow standard Eight-Ball rules. After the break, each player is assigned either Solids (balls 1–7) or Stripes (balls 9–15) once the first legal ball is pocketed. Clear all seven balls in your group, then legally pocket the black 8-ball to win. Pocketing one of your own balls legally lets you continue your turn. Fouls — scratching the cue ball, hitting the opponent's group first, or failing to make legal contact — can give your opponent ball-in-hand.
Aiming and Shooting
Rotate the cue stick by moving the mouse or dragging on the touchscreen to line up your shot. Set power by clicking or touching and dragging backward from the cue ball, then release to shoot; a vertical power control is also available for more precise strength. Use the left and right fine-aim controls for small adjustments.
Spin and Camera
The cue-ball spin control lets you apply top spin, backspin/draw, or side spin (English) to influence where the cue ball travels after contact and set up your next shot. Four camera views are available: behind-the-cue aiming, top-down view, rail view, and a free-look room view.
