About Color Arrow: A Relaxing Puzzle of Sequence and Colored Gates
Color Arrow is a relaxing puzzle game where the order of every move matters. The challenge lies in untangling colorful arrows and planning around colored gates that shift after each use. Colored lines in red, blue, and yellow terminate in arrowheads across the board, making the color relationships between arrows and gates immediately visible.
Two modes shape how you engage with the puzzles. Endless mode offers varied board shapes to explore at your own pace, while Daily mode presents the same puzzle to players around the world each day. With no time limit in play, Color Arrow rewards careful thinking over speed.
How to Play Color Arrow: Clear Every Arrow in the Right Order
The goal is to clear all arrows from the board. Tap or click an arrow that has a clear path in the direction it points, and it automatically exits through a matching colored gate. The key wrinkle is that each colored gate cycles through colors — red → blue → yellow → red — after every use, so the gate available on your next move depends on the sequence of moves you've already made.
When no matching colored gate is available for an arrow, it consumes one of six white reserve gates. Each reserve gate can only be used once, so managing them carefully is central to earning a high score.
Star Ratings
- 3 stars: Clear all arrows using no reserve gates
- 2 stars: Clear all arrows using 1–3 reserve gates
- 1 star: Clear all arrows using 4–6 reserve gates
Hints, Undo, and Zoom
- Undo: Step back when a move doesn't work out
- Hint: Get guidance without any penalty to your star rating
- Restart: Reset the board and try a fresh approach
- Pinch or zoom controls: Get a closer look at the board layout
