About Card Soccer: Card Duel with a Soccer Twist

Card Soccer takes an ordinary deck and turns it into a soccer match. Each player fields a goalkeeper and three defenders made of playing cards, and the goal is exactly what it sounds like — score more goals than your opponent. The rules are compact but carry a genuine edge: higher ranks beat lower ones, except that a two beats an ace and a three beats a king, so no card is ever completely safe. Equal ranks trigger a war, settled by fresh draws from both decks. That single wrinkle keeps every attack uncertain right up to the final card.

Won cards cycle back through a discard pile that gets shuffled into a new deck when the original runs out, so the contest stays alive until one player genuinely cannot draw. Most goals wins; equal scores end in a draw.

How to Play Card Soccer: Break Through and Score

Each player starts with 26 cards split into a goalkeeper, three defenders, and the remainder forming a personal deck. The card shown in the center is your attacking card for that turn.

Attacking and Scoring

Select a valid opposing card to attack it. Higher ranks win, with the two-beats-ace and three-beats-king exceptions applying throughout. Suits have no effect. Beat all three defenders and then the goalkeeper to score. After each successful play, the next card from your deck appears automatically.

War and Turn Changes

When two cards of equal rank meet, a war begins: both players keep revealing cards until one side wins. Win the war and the attack continues; lose it and the opponent collects all cards from that exchange and takes the next turn. Selecting "Skip" ends an attack voluntarily, and the attack also ends automatically when no valid move remains. After a goal, the player who conceded starts the next attack.

Deck and Match End

Cards won during play go to the discard pile. When a deck empties, that discard pile is shuffled to form a new one. If either player still cannot draw a card after that, the match ends and goals are compared.

Controls

• Tap / Click a card: Attack the selected opposing defender or goalkeeper
• Tap / Click "Skip": End the current attack voluntarily
