Bribes & Stamps puts you at the gate of a fantasy town, working as the guard who decides who gets in and who gets turned away. Every visitor presents their papers, and your job is to compare their face against the portrait on those documents — catching changelings, forgers, and anyone whose details don't add up. The town itself responds to your diligence: every honest traveler you admit helps it grow, from a muddy village into a shining capital. The pixel-art presentation gives the whole experience a retro, deliberate feel that suits the careful, detail-focused work at its core.

Some visitors will try a different approach and offer a bribe. Accept it, and you are obligated to let them through — a choice that carries its own consequences for your record and the town's integrity.

How to Play Bribes & Stamps: Compare, Stamp, and Build

Each visitor appears in the window alongside their papers. Your task is to compare six specific details: face, name, age, sex, marks, and document number. When everything matches, press the green stamp to admit them. When anything differs, press the red stamp to turn them away.

Mistakes are costly — each error loses a heart, and only three hearts are available per day. When a case feels uncertain, the Instinct button (the eye icon) can reveal a lie. Tapping the portrait on the papers zooms it in for a closer look.

At the end of each day, wages are collected and coins can be spent to build up the town, open chests, and decorate your booth.
