About Tavern Cardsharp: Pixel Card Dueling for Coins and Decks
Tavern Cardsharp is a pixel card game built around high-stakes one-on-one duels. Sit across from a rival, put your coins on the table, and fight for their entire deck. Win and you walk away richer and better equipped; lose and your deck changes hands. The stakes are literal — every hit on a portrait drains coins from the loser's pile, and the duel ends when one pile runs dry.
The card pool draws from 15 classes, ranging from militia and archer to thief and giant, and 15 affixes including thorns, lifesteal, echo, charge, and vengeance. Rivals have character and living faces, and a smirk can give away a strong card. The tavern itself is structured as a ladder across three floors; beat the champions on each floor to climb higher. A tutorial at the table with the innkeeper eases new players in.
How to Play Tavern Cardsharp
Once creatures are in play, tap yours and then tap a target — either an enemy creature or the rival's portrait when the path is clear.
Neighbours matter: some cards grow stronger when placed in formation, while others perform best alone. Choosing where to slot each creature is as important as which creature to play.
Between duels, buy packs from the innkeeper to expand your collection. Packs can contain rare, legendary, and foil cards. Pick a table that matches your deck's strength and work your way up the ladder toward the champions on the upper floors.
Controls
- Drag (creature from hand): Place a creature into an empty slot on your side of the table
- Tap creature, then tap target: Attack an enemy creature or the rival's portrait when the way is clear
- Tap the seal: End your turn
