About Balloons around!: A Non-Classic Bubble Shooter with Leaderboards

Balloons around! is a non-classic bubble shooter built around a variety of levels and modes of play. The core choice is yours from the start: relax and enjoy bursting colourful bubbles at your own pace, or compete for a place on the leaderboard. Several scenes show colored spheres arranged in hexagonal, diamond, and triangular hollow frames. A colored line originates from a small sphere at the center of those geometric shapes and extends outward toward the bubble clusters. The background shifts between a dark charcoal gray and a light gray tone across different views.

How to Play Balloons around!

The objective is straightforward: burst all the bubbles on the field to win. Aim with the pointer, take a shot, and the bubble moves to the highlighted cell. Group three or more bubbles of the same colour together and they burst. Clear the entire field and the round is yours.

Fouls and the Playing Area

Miss enough shots in a row without popping any bubbles and a foul is committed, causing the playing area to shrink. The number of errors remaining before a foul is triggered appears in the top left-hand corner, beneath the score. Fouls are factored into the final points calculation.

Configurations and Records

Nine configurations are available in total. Each configuration carries its own record and its own leaderboard, both viewable in the Victory Menu after winning. The total leaderboard displays the sum of your records across all nine configurations, so strong play in every configuration adds up.

Customising the Playing Field

The shape and size of the playing field can be adjusted through the pause menu. A restart is required for any changes to take effect. The preferred option for relaxed or competitive play is also selected from the pause menu.
