About Ants Ate My Pixels!: Cube-Clearing Pixel Art Puzzle
Ants Ate My Pixels! is a color-matching puzzle game where pixel art pictures disappear one cube at a time, carried off by industrious ants. Starting with a tiny heart, the game runs across 858 levels, each one a fresh pixel art image that grows larger and more complex as new challenges appear. The pace is casual but the decisions are real — the order in which tiles are chosen determines whether the ants can finish the job or the level is lost.
How to Play Ants Ate My Pixels!: Clear Every Cube
The goal is to clear every cube from the picture. A tray below the image holds up to five tile slots. Selecting the top colored tile in the tray releases ants, and each ant carries away one cube of its matching color that it can reach from the outside of the shape. A slot opens back up once all the ants from that tile have departed.
Order and Exposure
Only cubes on the outer layer of the picture are reachable at first. Clearing those exposes the colors hidden underneath, making them available for later tiles. Picking exposed colors early keeps options open; if all five slots fill with tiles that have no reachable cubes of their color, the level is lost.
