About Walnut Rush: Squirrel Harvest Across 30 Levels
Walnut Rush puts you in charge of a squirrel on a mission to bring in the walnut harvest before the tree drops more than you are able to handle. Catch falling walnuts, carry up to five at a time, and sprint back to the burrow to deposit them. The level clears once you've delivered the target number, and the pressure builds with every act.
Thirty levels span three acts, and the tree itself grows as you progress — from a young sapling to an ancient giant. Along the way, thieving crows, rolling hedgehogs, buzzing beehives, sticky bird droppings, and gusts of wind all work against you. Golden walnuts, magnets, combos, star ratings, and a daily goal keep each run feeling distinct.
How to Play Walnut Rush: Catch, Carry, and Deposit
Move the squirrel left and right across the lower part of the screen to catch walnuts as they fall from the tree. Once you're carrying a load, head left to the burrow and drop them off. Deposit enough walnuts to meet the level's target and the stage is cleared.
A walnut that hits the ground bounces once, giving you a second chance to grab it before it lands again. Catching a rotten walnut, a stone, or a beehive counts as a mistake, and so does losing a walnut entirely. Run out of mistakes and the level restarts.
Warnings appear before hazards arrive: a red ring marks where a crow will strike, a flag shows where a rolling hedgehog stops, and an arrow signals an incoming gust of wind.
Controls
- Drag left / right (touch or mouse): Move the squirrel in the lower part of the screen
- Left / Right arrow keys or A / D: Move the squirrel
- P or Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
