Squid Game: Royale drops players into a brutal competition inspired by the iconic show, where deadly challenges eliminate everyone but one survivor. The action spans familiar trials — "Red Light, Green Light," the Glass Bridge, Tug of War, and more — played against random opponents or friends you invite yourself. One wrong move and you're out.
Agility, tactics, and cunning all come into play: push rivals off course, jump first, hide, or sabotage opponents to gain the edge. Winning matches earns skins, masks, and other rewards. Several scenes show purple lines on the ground forming a layout of a large square connected to two smaller rectangles and a triangle with circular junctions. One scene features a suspension bridge made of two parallel rails holding several translucent square panels.
