PROJECTO: Cat Attack!
About PROJECTO: Cat Attack!: First-Person Survival Shooter in Four Hostile Worlds
PROJECTO: Cat Attack! drops you into a fog-soaked, rain-drenched abandoned rail yard with a sniper rifle, three health points, and no cover. Waves of hostile cats close in from every direction, and every one that reaches you costs health. Survive long enough and the world shifts — four distinct environments await: Rail Yard, Cinder Scrapyard, Frostline Depot, and Toxic Hollow, each with its own layout, visual character, and music. The screen goes black for a moment between worlds, and at the end of each one a boss is waiting.
Every boss is a massive cat with its own armour and appearance. It raises a guard that deflects shots back at you, and it lobs hairballs that land on red warning circles and leave behind hairy patches that deal damage. From the second world onward, bosses arrive accompanied by copies of the previous boss. Cats also grow tougher with each world, gaining one additional hit point per world, which makes headshots and faster weapons increasingly important.
The arsenal runs from the M24 sniper rifle — which pierces through multiple cats and carries unlimited ammo — to the M9 pistol, MP7 SMG, SPAS-12 shotgun, and eventually the RPG-7 and minigun, which only begin dropping after the third boss is killed. Three difficulty settings shape the challenge: Normal, Hard (more cats, tougher bosses, fewer drops), and Hardcore (one life, no medkits). The game runs on both desktop and mobile.
How to Play PROJECTO: Cat Attack!
The goal is to survive as many waves as possible. Every five waves the world changes and a boss appears.
Staying Alive
- A cat that touches you deals damage, then grants 2 seconds of immunity — move or jump away to avoid the next hit.
- Shots to the head deal extra damage, which matters more as cats gain hit points in later worlds.
- Slain cats can drop medkits and ammo crates.
- Every weapon except the M24 has limited ammo, so watch your reserves carefully.
Boss Encounters
- When a boss raises its glowing shield, hold fire — shots bounce back.
- Run out of a red warning circle before a hairball lands. A direct hit deals 2 damage and gives 1 second to escape the hair patch before death. Stepping into a leftover hairy patch costs 1 health.
- From the second world on, the previous boss's copies arrive alongside the new boss.
Late-Game Weapons
- The RPG-7 and minigun only start dropping from enemies once the third boss has been killed.
