Potion Kitchen is a cosy crafting puzzle about running a potion shop at the edge of the market. Guests arrive one after another with orders — one needs a potion of warmth, another wants a good night's sleep, and some speak entirely in riddles, leaving the interpretation to you. The recipe book starts completely empty, and all 19 recipes are unlocked through brewing alone, because every potion's ingredients share one common element, making each discovery something that can be reasoned out rather than guessed.

How to Play Potion Kitchen: Mix, Brew, and Serve Before Patience Runs Out

The goal is to serve every guest before their patience runs out. Each shift follows a clear sequence, and the recipe book fills itself as you brew.

Starting and Reading Orders

• Press Start shift — the first guest walks up to the counter.
• Read the order. A direct request names the potion outright; a riddle describes its effect. Hints below the order help narrow it down.

Brewing and Serving

• Tap an ingredient on the shelf or drag it into the cauldron. The cauldron holds two ingredients, or three once upgraded.
• Press Brew and see what comes out. An exact match earns a Perfect result, but any real potion still sells.
• Press Serve: the guest pays in coins and reputation, and the new recipe goes straight into the book.

Between Shifts

• Spend coins in the shop on kitchen upgrades, including the cauldron upgrade that adds a third ingredient slot.

Controls

• Tap ingredient / Drag ingredient: Add it to the cauldron
• Space or Enter: Brew and serve
• C: Empty the cauldron
• H: Get a hint
• B: Open the recipe book
• P or Esc: Pause
• M: Toggle sound
