One Line Rivals
About One Line Rivals: Fast Head-to-Head Puzzle Duel
One Line Rivals drops two solvers into a timed duel built around a deceptively clean challenge: draw one continuous line that fills every tile in an irregular glowing grid, exactly once, without lifting, crossing, or doubling back. This is the classic Hamiltonian path puzzle — cover the whole shape in a single stroke — raced against a rival under a shared 90-second clock. The pace is brisk, the rules are strict, and every completed puzzle scores a point.
How to Play One Line Rivals
A match opens with a 3-second countdown, then the 90-second timer starts. Both you and your AI rival solve a stream of puzzles independently on that shared timer. Each completed puzzle earns one point, and whoever has solved the most when time runs out wins the match.
The rival adapts through rubber-band difficulty — it speeds up when it falls behind and eases off when it pulls ahead, keeping matches competitive throughout.
Solving a Puzzle
- Begin on the marked tile, which has a white ring around it.
- Drag through adjacent tiles — up, down, left, or right only, no diagonals — to extend the line.
- Every tile must be covered exactly once; revisiting or skipping a tile is not allowed.
- Filling the final tile completes the puzzle automatically, scores a point, and loads the next puzzle.
- If the path becomes trapped, tap the Reset button beneath the board to clear the line and start the stroke again.
Controls
- Press and hold (finger or mouse) on the start tile: Begin the line from the marked tile
- Drag (up / down / left / right): Extend the line through adjacent tiles
- Tap Reset button: Clear the current line and restart the stroke from the beginning
