Night Torque is a drag racing game built around precise launches, well-timed gear shifts, and assembling a garage of your own. The career spans 10 districts and 60 rivals, giving the competition a clear sense of progression as you work through each region. Along the way, a collection of 20 cars is available to acquire, each tunable across engines, gearboxes, and tires. Visual customization covers paint, wheels, spoilers, and decals, so every car in the garage can carry a distinct look. An interactive opening teaches the controls before the racing begins, and 60 mastery challenges with fixed loan setups offer a structured test of technique beyond the main career.

How to Play Night Torque

The core of every race comes down to two moments: the launch and each gear shift. Before the start, hold the designated control to keep the revs inside the launch zone — the car fires off automatically when the light turns green. From there, watch the shift indicator and tap the control each time it enters the green zone to change gear at the right moment. Races, cars, and upgrades are all selected through the on-screen buttons.

The interactive opening walks through the controls before the first race, and dedicated practice lets you sharpen your technique. The 60 mastery challenges use fixed loan setups, so success depends entirely on how well the launch and shift timing are executed rather than on the car brought to the line.
