Gridfront
Gridfront - Play Online
Hidden battlefield. Tactical chess with explosions. Gridfront is turn-based warfare stripped to pure strategy. Deploy units. Attack blind tiles. Destroy or be destroyed.
How to Play Gridfront
Victory condition is brutal: Wipe out the enemy army or lock them into paralysis. No moves left? You lose. Simple math. Deadly consequences.
Build Your Army
Pre-battle phase decides everything. Spend points wisely. Each unit costs different amounts. Tanks hit hard but drain resources. Sappers clear mines cheap. Saboteurs disrupt enemy plans. Artillery pounds from range. Aircraft strike fast. Balance is survival. Overspend on one type? Dead before Turn 3.
Deploy and Attack
Place units on your grid. Enemy grid stays hidden. Blind warfare begins. Spend command points per turn. Select unit. Pick enemy tile. Attack. Hit air? Wasted points. Hit armor? Gain momentum. Destroying enemies refunds points. Chain kills snowball into victory. Miss twice? Initiative flips. Now enemy hunts you.
Advanced Tactics
Watch terrain penalties. Some tiles drain command points. Mines punish reckless attacks. Use Sappers first to sweep sectors. Save Aircraft for confirmed targets. Track enemy patterns. Three misses in one column? Move on. Cluster destroyed units? Artillery strike that zone. Endgame tip: Block their last units. Force stalemate equals win.
