NEXTBOT: The Playground drops you onto one of three maps where the sole objective is to survive as long as possible while nextbots close in. The game blends attentiveness with quick reaction, and the tension comes from a simple but unforgiving rule: let a nextbot get too close and it's over. One scene shows multiple brown bear-like character heads clustered together on a green surface. Another moment places small blue figures wearing white mushroom-shaped hats in front of a grey building with rectangular windows. A separate scene shows several large, fleshy human hands descending from a blue sky toward a white surface.
How to Play NEXTBOT: The Playground
The goal is to stay on the same map as a nextbot for as long as possible. Points accumulate while you share the map with an enemy, and those points can be spent to purchase additional nextbots. Vigilance matters — getting too close to a nextbot ends the game immediately. Managing distance is the core challenge throughout every session.
