About Fireflies: Survivors-Like Arena Game in a Night Meadow
Fireflies drops you into a glowing night meadow as the last surviving firefly. Moths, beetles, slimes, toads, and shadows pour in from the darkness, and your firefly fights back on its own — your job is to steer, gather sparks of light, and build a powerful combination of abilities across each run. The game blends horde survival with incremental progression, pitting you against a Mantis mini-boss along the way before the final confrontation with the Owl at dawn.
Between runs, nectar earned in the arena can be spent in the Grove on permanent upgrades, and new fireflies can be unlocked to vary future attempts.
How to Play Fireflies: Survive Until Dawn
Your firefly attacks automatically throughout each run. Steering through the swarms and collecting sparks of light causes your firefly to level up, and each level-up presents a choice of one upgrade from three options. Six weapons and six passive skills can be combined, giving each run a distinct build.
The goal is to survive until 7:00 and defeat the Owl boss. Along the way, the Mantis appears as a mini-boss challenge. Nectar earned during a run carries over to the Grove, where permanent upgrades and new characters become available.
