DEAD WRONG: Alien Outbreak drops you into a bright, bizarre alien city where your mission is to become Patient Zero and spread a zombie outbreak across 24 districts. Rather than fighting as a lone hero against the undead, you build and command a growing horde by biting aliens one by one until every resident of each district is infected. The tone is playful and the 3D action is brisk, but the challenge is real — armed enemies actively hunt your allies, medics work to undo your progress, and clearing each district demands more than just charging forward.
How to Play DEAD WRONG: Alien Outbreak
The objective in each district is straightforward: infect every alien to complete it. Moving close to an alien triggers an automatic bite, converting them into a horde member who then fights alongside you. The horde grows with each successful infection, but it is fragile — armed aliens carry grenades, rockets, pistols, flamethrowers, and automatic weapons, and they will kill your allies if left unchecked. Medics pose a particular threat because they can cure infected members, shrinking your horde. Targeting medics early and using cover to protect your allies are the core tactical decisions the game asks you to make.
Progression opens up additional movement options. Buying sneakers unlocks sprinting, and a leap ability can also be unlocked. The hero respawns after defeat, so a failed run does not end the campaign. Mutations can be unlocked over time, outfits can be changed, and medals are available to chase for extra challenge.
