Bonkhalla drops you into relentless waves of monsters across three distinct biomes — Forest, Desert, and Graveyard — with a roster of six heroes to choose from. The goal is survival: last 10 minutes, take down the final boss, and then face the Final Storm. Several scenes show white-colored trees with rounded, cube-like foliage scattered across green ground. The game pairs action RPG combat with a collecting and leveling loop that keeps each run feeling different, backed by over 30 items, 30 quests, and 10 challenges.

How to Play Bonkhalla

Weapons fire automatically, so movement and dodging are your primary tasks. As you move through each biome, experience crystals drop from enemies — collect them to level up, then choose a new weapon, an upgrade, or a tome from the options presented. Smash pots and chests scattered across the arena to grab loot, and activate shrines to gain temporary buffs. Mini-bosses appear during runs, and the final boss must be defeated before time expires — fail to do so and the Final Storm begins.

Weapon Evolutions

Raise any weapon to level 5, then pair it with the correct tome to trigger an evolution. Three confirmed transformations:

• Sword: evolves into Holy Blade
• Fireball: evolves into Inferno
• Lightning: evolves into Thunder God

Twelve weapon types are available in total, each with its own evolution path.

Between Runs

Silver earned during runs funds permanent upgrades for your heroes in the shop. Completing quests and challenges unlocks unique rewards — challenges come with their own special rules, such as one-on-one boss fights, no-healing runs, and glass cannon mode.
