About Bolt Odyssey: Bolt-Sorting Puzzle with a Roguelite Twist
Bolt Odyssey is a colorful bolt-sorting puzzle that layers a roguelite structure over its matching mechanics. Starting on Earth, the run carries across 10 planets, each introducing its own rule — chained capsules, frozen bolts, hidden colors, strong winds, and more. Clear a planet and choose one of three power-up cards to shape the next stretch of the journey, making every run play out differently. The reserve is the pressure point: let it fill completely and the run ends, so the question is always how far you are able to push.
How to Play Bolt Odyssey
Each capsule holds bolts stacked on top of one another. Pull the top bolt from a capsule and it flies automatically into an open bin that matches its color. When a bin fills completely, it pops and clears that slot for the next color.
Only three bins can be open at the same time. Any bolt that has no matching open bin waits in the reserve slots instead. If every reserve slot fills up, the run is over. Managing which bins stay open and which bolts land in reserve is the core tension of every planet.
After clearing a planet, pick one card from a set of three power-up options — choices include tools like Magnet, Bomb, and Extra Bin. Bombs and shuffles from your collected cards can be used whenever the board gets stuck.
