WRECKYARD: Scrap Derby drops six drivers into a dusty scrapyard pit walled in by crushed cars, with one rule: the winner is the last car that can still drive. Speed is not the point — survival is.
The damage model is specific and persistent. Every hit lands on a particular spot: panels fold in, bumpers tear off, hoods and doors and wheels go flying, glass shatters. Dents stay until the round ends and actively change how the car handles — it pulls to one side, loses punch, and steam pours from the hood. A car is eliminated once its engine dies or its wheels are torn off.
Four modes spread the action across different formats: a classic derby, a downhill race, a crash test, and a survival mode against waves of rivals. Five arena settings give each match a distinct character — a scrapyard, a container terminal, a frozen lake, a figure-eight track, and mountain tracks with snow and rain. A career mode adds boss fights, and scrap earned along the way fills a garage of ten cars ranging from light convertibles to armored heavyweights.
How to Play WRECKYARD: Scrap Derby — Ram Rivals and Protect Your Radiator
The goal is to ram rivals until their engines stall or three wheels are torn off, while keeping your own car running long enough to be the last one moving.

Tips
- Take hits on your rear, not your nose — the radiator sits at the front
- Hit rivals in the side to knock off their wheels and steering

- Back off when the engine overheats
Controls
Keyboard
- W / ↑: Accelerate
- S / ↓: Brake and reverse
- A / D or ← / →: Steer
- Space: Handbrake — swing your rear around
- Pause: Button in the top-right corner
Mouse
- Mouse: Pick modes, arenas, and cars in the menu, garage, shop, and settings
Touch Screen
Choose a layout in Settings. Note: there is no handbrake on touch; pause uses the same top-right button.
- Buttons: ◀ ▶ arrows on the left steer; gas and brake/reverse on the right
- Wheel & pedals: Turn the wheel on the left with your finger; gas and brake/reverse on the right
- Tilt: Steer by tilting the phone; the Centre button sets neutral
- Joystick: Sideways steers; up is gas; down is brake/reverse
