Top Driver 2 is an open-world driving game that puts you in the role of an undercover police officer working to bring down a mafia network involved in illegal racing and car theft. The game spreads across a varied map that takes in a central city, country roads, mountain serpentines, and an industrial area, giving each drive a different feel depending on where you head.

Over 140 cars are available through 20 dealers representing European, Japanese, and American manufacturers, so finding something that suits your style is part of the experience. Car physics account for mass, drive, power, and vehicle class, while road surface and rain conditions actively affect tire grip. One scene along the road shows tall brown palm-like trees with dark green fronds lining the roadside.

Races come in several forms — ring races, drifting, sprints, speed races, and time races — alongside mob missions and assignments from a character named Samantha. Missions and Earning Money

• Take assignments from the mafia and Samantha — these are a reliable way to earn extra money.
• A character named Marcus occasionally offers a discounted fleet of used cars and will notify you when that stock is updated.
• Samantha or Marcus can point you toward whichever race is currently doubling its winnings for a win.

Racing and Duels

• Participate in ring races, drifting, sprints, speed races, and time races.
• Challenge other racers to a duel by lining up behind a racer and clicking the pop-up button that appears.
• Check race requirements carefully — some races restrict entry to a specific car class or drive type.

Exploration

• Explore the city to discover new garages and dealers.
• The purple garage icon moves you to the nearest garage.
