Steal an Egg: The Rift
About Steal an Egg: The Rift
Steal an Egg: The Rift drops you into a layered dungeon called the Rift, spread across seven floors, each home to its own biome and distinct creatures. The core loop is deceptively tense: sneak into guarded nests, grab an egg, and sprint back to your base before night closes the Rift. Back at home, eggs hatch into pets that generate coins, and those coins fund upgrades that push your run further. Merging your collection and unlocking trails add another layer of progression on top of the egg-stealing action.
How to Play Steal an Egg: The Rift — Steal Eggs, Hatch Pets, and Upgrade Your Base
Start by buying a treadmill and training on it to earn permanent speed boosts. Then enter the Rift, locate a guarded nest, take an egg, and escape its guard. Deliver the egg to the pen at your base and wait for it to hatch into a pet. The income those pets generate goes toward upgrading your base further. Every run has a hard deadline — eggs must make it home before nightfall, or the Rift closes on you.
Different biomes across the seven floors hide different creatures, so exploring deeper floors reveals new species to add to your collection. Merging pets and unlocking trails are additional goals that build on the hatching loop. The sound button mutes all audio when needed.

If the merging side of Steal an Egg: The Rift appeals to you, merge games on Playgama offer a wide range of collection-and-combine experiences worth exploring. For something with a similarly chaotic creature-collecting twist, Mutant Mash: Merge Garden has you merging fruit-animal hybrids that can mutate into rare Golden, Rainbow, or Glitch versions. If the idle income loop from hatched pets caught your attention, Mystery Dumpling Go: Merge IO blends coin-earning squads with arena battles and evolving characters.
The dungeon-crawling and base-building elements also fit naturally alongside adventure games, and the base management and pet-hatching loop shares DNA with simulation games on Playgama.
