About Snek Rally: Card Race for 1–4 Players

Snek Rally is a card-driven take on snakes and ladders built for 1–4 players. Each turn comes down to a single choice from three cards, and that one decision can flip the entire race. The tone is deliberately cheeky—climb past rivals, absorb a nasty setback, or steal the lead with a well-timed swap. One scene shows teal ladder structures connecting squares across the grid, giving the board a vivid, color-coded look.

Before the race begins, pick one of four racers: Frog, Doge, Nova, or Fizz. Four board sizes let groups tune the length of the race, and a rematch option keeps the action going after every finish.

How to Play Snek Rally

The goal is straightforward: be the first racer to reach or pass the last tile. On each turn, one card is chosen from a hand of three, the other two are discarded, and a fresh hand arrives immediately.

Card Types

• Number cards: move you forward the shown number of spaces
• TURBO (+2): moves 6 spaces
• WILD (+4): moves 8 spaces and grants a shield
• SKIP: moves 3 spaces and skips the next rival's turn
• SWAP: trades positions with a rival of your choice

Board Hazards and Shields

• Land on a ladder to climb ahead
• Land on a snake to slide back
• Collect shields to block a snake when you land on one

Multiplayer and Timing

Race solo against up to three bots, or create a private room and share its code with friends. Online turns last 30 seconds; if time runs out, a bot plays in your place.

Controls

• Click or tap a card: select and play that card on your turn
• 1, 2, or 3 (keyboard): play the corresponding card from your hand
