About Shape Rush
Shape Rush is a short-race arcade game where every level pits you against four rivals across procedurally generated courses. The core twist is transformation: three forms are randomly drawn from a pool of six before each race, and switching between them at the right moment is how you get through. Environments cycle through desert, city, field, and space settings, so no two runs feel identical.
Several scenes show a flat sandy orange ground plane dotted with green three-pronged cacti and tan layered rock stacks. A dark gray asphalt-style road with yellow dashed lines also appears across multiple views, stretching into the distance.
How to Play Shape Rush
Your racer moves forward automatically, so the challenge is reading what's ahead and picking the correct form before you hit it. Three buttons at the bottom of the screen handle the switching. Each of the six forms handles a specific type of terrain or obstacle:
The Six Forms
- Runner: climbs ladders
- Car: speeds along roads
- Boat: crosses water
- Helicopter: flies over gaps
- Bulldozer: breaks barriers
- Tunnel Borer: travels underground
Only three of these six forms are available in any given race, chosen randomly before the start. Collect coins along the way and reach the finish ahead of your rivals. Coins unlock colors and trails, and your results feed into a leaderboard.
