About Runestorm: 3D Horde Survivor with Roguelite Runs
Runestorm opens with a lore hook: the Runestorm cracked the seals of the old crypts, and undead legions rose. The player's job is to channel the storm and blast them back to their graves. It's a 3D horde survivor that layers roguelite runs with action RPG power, pitting one hero against hundreds of skeletons, wraiths, and imps flooding the arena at once. Chain lightning arcs through the horde, rune blades orbit around the hero, and meteors rain from the sky — all while stages clock in at roughly three minutes each.
Six heroes are available across three worlds, each divided into ten stages. Permanent talents carry over between runs, and the endless Rune Rift offers an ongoing challenge alongside a fresh Daily Storm every day.
How to Play Runestorm: Survive Waves and Defeat Stage Bosses
Each stage asks the hero to survive eight waves, defeat an elite enemy, and then take down the stage boss to clear it. The basic attack fires automatically, so movement and skill decisions drive the run.
Leveling Up and Skill Cards
Collect soul crystals to level up. On every level-up, choose one of three skill cards. Maxing out the right pair of skills unlocks one of six secret evolutions, adding a meaningful layer of build planning to each short run. Grab health potions whenever they appear to stay in the fight.
The RUNESTORM and Bosses
Chain kills to charge the RUNESTORM, then unleash it for a screen-wide blast. Epic bosses cap the stage, and Rune Chests provide additional rewards along the way.
