Museum Night Shift is a turn-based puzzle game set inside a hex-grid museum where every move reshapes a cunning thief's escape plan. The goal is to patrol the museum, block the thief's routes, and catch him before he makes off with the emerald—or, if he does grab it, chase him down and recover it. One scene shows a green gem resting inside a golden circular frame on a central hexagonal tile. Another moment reveals a board of nineteen interconnected teal hexagonal tiles arranged on a dark stone floor, and two glass display cases holding vases and jewelry sit on either side of the board area.

The game spans 50 handcrafted nights spread across five museum wings. Efficient captures earn coins, which contribute to completing an exhibit album. Finishing the campaign unlocks New Game+ with double coin rewards. There is no timer, so careful planning is always an option.

How to Play Museum Night Shift: Block Routes and Catch the Thief

Each turn, move the guard by clicking or tapping a neighboring hex. Stepping on a switch changes the matching security gates—opening or closing them to cut off the thief's path. The core challenge is using those gate switches and movement choices together to corner the thief before the emerald is stolen.

When the board extends beyond the visible area, drag it to scroll, or use the Overview option to see the entire layout at once. To skip a turn and hold position, click or tap the guard directly. The Pause menu provides access to settings or a return to the main menu.
