About Moscow Metro Driver 3D

Moscow Metro Driver 3D puts you in the cab of a real Moscow metro train, hauling passengers along the Kalininskaya line (line 8) through eight stations: Tretyakovskaya, Marksistskaya, Ploshchad Ilyicha, Aviamotornaya, Shosse Entuziastov, Perovo, Novogireyevo, and Novokosino. Four authentic train types are modelled — the "Nomernoy" 81-717/714, the "Oka" 81-760/761, the type "E" wagon 81-703, and the "Moscow" 81-765/766 — and the onboard announcements use real recordings from the Moscow metro informant system.

How to Play Moscow Metro Driver 3D

Driver mode hands you full control of a metro train; Training mode walks you through the basics before you run a live service. All train controls and station-walking actions are handled through on-screen buttons and input methods described below.

Train Controls

• Move the left controller to X1, X2, X3, or X4 to increase speed.
• Move the left controller to T1, T2, or T3 to reduce speed.
• Press the speaker button (bottom right) to start the informant recording.
• Press the doors button (bottom right) to open or close the doors — only available when stopped at a station within 3 metres of the rail.
• Press the camera button (upper left corner) to switch camera views.
• Press the light button (bottom right) to switch headlights on or off.
• Hold the pipe button (bottom right) to sound the horn.

Walking Through Stations

• The "Get off the train" button (bottom left) appears when stopped at a station within 3 metres of the rail.
• Press "Get back on the train" (bottom left) to reboard.

• Mouse movement: Rotate camera while walking

Mobile

• Left joystick: Walk through stations
• Right joystick: Rotate camera while walking
