Highway of the Dead puts you on the last road through a zombie wasteland, where your survivor fights automatically while you make every meaningful decision. The game is an auto-battler RPG built around short sessions and steady progress on a road that never ends. As day turns to night on the highway, you push from section to section, collecting gear from fallen zombies, training your hero, and choosing between good and evil when you meet lost souls along the way. Faction bosses, elite special encounters, and raids on rival survivor shelters all sit between you and the next stretch of road.
How to Play Highway of the Dead
Your survivor walks and fights without any input from you. The decisions that shape the run happen in the moments between combat.
Gear Drops
Every fallen zombie can drop new gear presented as a card. Swipe the card right to equip the item or left to sell it for gold. Weapons, armor, and trinkets all fill dedicated slots on your hero.
Abilities and the Tavern
Back in the Tavern, spend gold to train your hero and use the Bosses tab to summon faction bosses.
Encounters and Progression
Along the highway you meet lost souls and choose a good or evil path, which calls different faction bosses. Surviving elite special encounters and raiding rival survivor shelters through PvP Raid earns trophies that unlock new maps with stronger loot.
