Double Klondike Solitaire
About Double Klondike Solitaire
Double Klondike Solitaire takes the classic Klondike formula and expands it with two full decks of cards, making it one of the most engaging variants of the world's most popular solitaire. The goal is to clear the playing field by arranging all cards in ascending order by suit. A green textured surface serves as the background for the playing cards across the game's views. The game combines elements of chance and strategic thinking, rewarding careful planning at every step.
Customizable appearance lets you tailor the look of the game, while daily tasks keep the excitement going over time. A leaderboard lets you track your progress and compete with friends for the top spot.
How to Play Double Klondike Solitaire: Arrange Cards from Ace to King by Suit
The objective is to build eight foundation piles at the top of the board, each arranged by suit from Ace to King. Below those foundations sit nine columns where cards are organized in descending order, alternating colors.
Building the Columns
Cards in the nine columns must be placed in descending order with alternating colors. For example, a black ten goes onto a red jack, a red nine onto that black ten, and a black eight follows next. Individual cards or entire groups can be moved together — drag the highest card in a group and all the cards beneath it follow along.
Using the Deck
A deck of cards sits in the upper right corner. When no moves remain in the columns, click on the empty space there to deal new cards and continue play.
Planning Your Moves
Because the game blends chance with strategic thinking, planning moves carefully is important. Hints are available, and moves can be undone an unlimited number of times to help work through difficult positions.
Controls
- Drag card or group: Move a single card or a group of cards to a new column position
- Click on deck area: Deal new cards from the deck when the current supply runs out
