About Color Slime
Color Slime is a routing puzzle where every level conceals a washed-out picture — a house, a flower, a penguin, an octopus — waiting to be brought back to life. Colored sponges sit across the board, and the goal is to roll each one across every cell it needs to cover before the move limit runs out. Small pink and white spheres with eyes and smiles appear on top of the colored blocks across several scenes. Rounded purple and gray blocks are arranged in a grid-like structure against a solid blue background in multiple views of the game.
What sets Color Slime apart from typical coloring games is that color here is a vehicle, not a selection. Each sponge respects its own outline — it cannot paint outside its designated region — so the picture always resolves correctly. The challenge is purely about routing: planning the order and direction of strokes so every sponge reaches every corner of its region without blocking another.
How to Play Color Slime
Each level presents a washed-out picture. Roll color over all of it to win.
Push a sponge and it slides as far as it can go, painting every cell it crosses. It stops at walls, other sponges, wet paint, or the edge of its own color region. Because a sponge cannot leave its color region, the picture always comes out correctly — the puzzle is entirely about routing each sponge to cover everywhere it needs to go.
From level 4 onward, a swipe budget appears on screen as par / used. Running out means restarting or watching a video to receive 5 more swipes. Finishing fast, using few swipes, or maintaining a win streak earns score multipliers, and your best score sets your stars and unlocks the next level.
Controls
- Swipe a sponge: rolls it in that direction; keep holding and each turn fires the next stroke, so one continuous gesture draws a whole route
- Tap a sponge, or swipe back: rewinds its last stroke and lifts that paint
- Arrow keys ← →: browse levels on the select screen; no other keyboard controls
