Chess Master
Chess Master - Play Online
Classic chess. 3D or 2D boards. Play against friends or AI. Chess Master strips away fluff and delivers pure strategy. Select piece. See valid moves. Execute. Repeat until checkmate. Developed by FPDA, this is chess for browsers—no downloads, no waiting.
How to Play Chess Master
The Goal: Checkmate the opponent's king. Trap it so it can't escape. Simple mission. Complex execution. Every piece matters. One wrong move = game over.
Select and Move
Click a piece. Valid moves light up green. Tap the target square. That's it. The game handles the rest. Pawn moves one square forward (two on first move). Hits diagonally. Knight jumps in an L-shape—two squares one direction, one square perpendicular. Bishop cuts diagonals. Rook owns the straight lines. Queen does it all. King crawls one square any direction but never into danger.
Master Special Moves
Castling: Double move. King slides two squares toward a rook that's never moved. Rook hops over. Protection tactic. Can't castle through check or across attacked squares. En Passant: Rare pawn capture. If enemy pawn jumps two squares and lands beside your pawn, you can take it diagonally as if it only moved one. One-turn window. Miss it and it's gone.
AI Difficulty & Camera Control
Pick your challenge. Different AI difficulty levels scale from beginner to Kasparov-mode grind. Low AI makes mistakes. High AI calculates three moves ahead. Lost? Use the Step Back function. Undo your blunder. Swap between 3D perspective (angled view, dramatic bloom) and 2D top-down (flat sprites, clean grid). 2D saves battery. 3D looks cooler. Choice is yours.
