How to Play Catch the Hue

Your goal is simple: memorize colors and recreate them perfectly. Five rounds. Each round scores up to 10.00 points. Total score determines your rank on the global leaderboard. The closer your mix, the higher you score.

Memorization Phase

Round starts. Color appears on screen. Clock ticks. 5 seconds in normal mode. 3 seconds in expert mode (toggle in menu). Burn it into your brain. Hue angle. Saturation depth. Brightness level. Timer hits zero. Color disappears.

Reconstruction Phase

Now it's just you and three vertical sliders. Hue slider picks the color family (red to violet spectrum). Saturation slider controls color intensity (gray to pure). Brightness slider sets lightness (black to full brightness). Drag each slider. Dial in your memory. Hit "Rate" to lock your answer. System calculates accuracy. Perfect match = 10.00. Close = 8-9. Off = lower score.

Match Progression

Click "Next" after each round. Five rounds total. After round five, see your cumulative score. Compare against other players worldwide. Want harder challenge? Enable expert mode. Cuts memorization time to 3 seconds. Colors randomize every game. No two matches identical.
