How to Play Windup: Gear Connect Puzzle — Build a Chain from Crank to Ornament
Gears only turn when their teeth are in contact with a gear that is already turning, so the task is to build an unbroken chain from the crank to every ornament. Each gear placed uses one wind, while removing a gear costs nothing. Hints and boosters are available when progress stalls.
Controls
- Tap or click: Select a gear from the rack and place it on a peg
- Drag: Move a selected gear onto the desired peg on the board
- Tap or click a placed gear: Remove it from the board at no cost
