Space Fishing 2 drops you into a world reshaped by the Great Fall, where fishing is no longer a pastime but the engine of survival. Contaminated lakes, flooded cities, and acid seas hide mutated creatures — some caught for food, others for the rare substances needed to maintain suits and filters. More than a hundred fish species and giants are spread across ten bases, with waters ranging from the Old Village all the way to the Orbital Elevator. The ultimate goal is assembling shuttle Hope, the last chance to escape a dying planet.

How to Play Space Fishing 2

Starting Out

From the main menu, tap Continue Playing to arrive at a stalker base between fishing trips. Open the travel map, go to the Locations tab, pick a water, and tap Go fishing. Before heading out, open your inventory and assemble a rig from a rod, reel, line, hook, and bait. Backpack weight matters — overloading slows travel.

Catching Fish

Wait for a bite, then reel in by holding Reel in. The tension bar is the core mechanic: keep the reading in the green and yellow zones to land your catch. Once caught, send fish to the keepnet promptly — only fresh fish sells at the base.

Working the Base

At the fish market, sell your catch for silver. The shop stocks gear and supplies, and in Recipes you are able to learn formulas to craft bait, groundbait, and ship parts. Equip your suit, keepnet, and meds through the inventory. Keep an eye on health, radiation, and backpack weight throughout every trip.

Progress and Endgame

Meet inspector standards to raise your rank and unlock new bases and waters. Complete daily tasks and cafe orders, and discover species in the encyclopedia. At the Orbital Elevator shipyard, build the Hope shuttle from resources caught in contaminated waters — the final objective of the game.
