Neon Survivor: Overclock
About Neon Survivor: Overclock: Top-Down Autoshooter Roguelite
Neon Survivor: Overclock drops you into a cybernetic chassis and sends you through escalating hordes across three distinct arenas: Neon Arena, Cryo Foundry, and Biohazard Hive. Weapons fire on their own, so the game's tension lives entirely in movement, positioning, and the upgrade choices made between waves. Four pilots, four starting weapons, and four difficulty tiers per map give each run a different starting shape, while boss waves arrive to break whatever rhythm you've settled into. Scrap earned during a run carries over to the Cyber Workshop, where permanent upgrades ensure that even a failed attempt pushes the next one further.
How to Play Neon Survivor: Overclock: Survive, Level Up, Draft Upgrades
The goal is to outlast the arena timer and defeat the boss waves. Because weapons target the nearest enemy automatically, winning comes down to positioning, dodging, and smart drafting at each level-up.
Leveling and Upgrades
Enemies drop blue XP gems on death. Collecting them fills the experience bar, and each level-up presents a choice of weapons, passives, and evolutions. A limited number of rerolls lets you cycle the offered options. Combinations across these categories produce very different builds, so each run's draft sequence shapes the entire strategy.
Progression Between Runs
Clearing a map unlocks the next difficulty tier on that arena. Scrap accumulated during a run is spent in the Cyber Workshop on permanent upgrades, so progress continues even when a run ends early.
